Ramie AlTawil- Director

Ramie Altawil is a dedicated attorney with a passion for fighting for justice and representing the underdog. Raised in Amman, Jordan, Ramie moved to Miami after graduating high school, where he has since established himself as a skilled and compassionate legal advocate. Ramie earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Miami in an impressive three years. Following his undergraduate studies, Ramie pursued his Juris Doctor (JD) degree at the prestigious University of Miami School of Law. 

With a deep-seated desire to make a difference in people's lives, Ramie began his professional career as an Assistant Public Defender in Miami. Over the course of the past 4 years, he has handled a wide range of cases, including misdemeanors, first-degree felonies, and even those punishable by life imprisonment. Ramie's dedication to his clients is evident through his involvement in numerous trials, where he served as the lead attorney in many cases, successfully representing his clients' interests. 

Ramie's decision to pursue a legal career stems from his unwavering belief in justice and his desire to champion the rights of individuals. He now manages his own firm, AlTawil Law Group, where he specializes in criminal defense, family law, and disciplinary issues. Ramie serves on the board of the Miami Dade Trial Lawyers Association. He also serves on NAABA’s Law School & Mentorship Committee where he aims to help law students get involved early and start building their professional network.
