Jose Leon - Director
Born, raised, and educated in South Florida, Jose attended Florida International University where he earned a degree in International Relations from the School of International and Public Affairs with a concentration in Security Studies and the Politics of both the Middle East and Latin America. Upon completing his undergraduate studies in 2010, Jose enrolled in the Florida International University College of Law where he clerked for Administrative Judge for the 11th Judicial Circuit Probate Division while completing his juris doctorate.
Jose has been involved in the Probate and Guardianship community since before his admission to law school. Upon his graduation and licensing, Jose continued practicing in the areas of Estate Planning, Probate, and Guardianship until eventually joining the Florida Probate & Family Law Firm to better serve his clients in 2022. Jose also served as a Supervising Attorney/Adjunct Professor for the Florida International University College of Law Clinical Program in the areas of Probate, Guardianship, Elder Law, and Special Needs. Additionally, Jose has given multiple CLE presentations as a subject matter expert regarding Federal Firearms laws and compliance with Title 2 Firearm and Title 2 transfers from Estates, Trusts, and Guardianships.
